on my own now

So far my first three weeks as a freshmen in college have been a experience to always remember. Sometimes I cant even believe that  could make it this far but I have and I will continue my journey as well . Reality has set in and it hits me that I am on my own learning how to become a young adult for the years to come. As a freshmen everything seems new and fresh to your mind because your in a new environment that you are not used to and that is something i have well overcome . I have a mind set to stay focus and that's what i will do. I love the campus I'm at so far and wouldn't change the decision i made to go here. The teacher are caring and are precise on the information they give you. Being at a HBCU university is also something I'm proud of because though many people may talk down on the school I attend , I've learned that in order to actually speak on a school you need to have had a experience with the campus it self . Not everything from the mouth of others will be true unless you take the time and experience it your self as a person and I am doing a well done job so far . Though this is only week three for me I have more to in counter at school and it will shape me as the years go on into become a young lady with many talents.
